For residents missing Dearborn Homecoming this year, there is still a way to support the spirit of the event.

While the festival was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, there is still a way to give money to the 21 Dearborn nonprofit organizations that normally raise funds or awareness at Homecoming by watching a special program Aug. 7-9 and donating at dearborncommunityfund.org.

In addition to the online fundraiser, five specific groups are hosting a drive-thru chicken dinner on Aug. 8.
