she is a 1-1/2 year old spayed female Akita (around 85-90 lb) looking for a new home. She is a wonderful dog that gets along well with both male boxers in my home. She has good manors and is a very quick learner. Walks very well with both of my other dogs, side by side, and does very little leash pulling; only when she sees squirrels or rabbits. Good bite inhibition and does well sharing toys with other dogs. No resource or food guarding of any kind. Have not seen her interact with children but would not suggest her in a home with small children as she is a large working breed dog and can be easily excitable. She does very well with grooming, allows grinding of her nails and enjoys beimg brushed. She loves car rides and going places like parks or to pet store and tractor supply to pick out new toys; sits patiently in rear seat during rides. Unfortunately I’m going thru a divorce and will not be able to have three dogs in new living arrangement. Ideally she would do best in a home without children under 12 and with dogs of the same energy level or spoiled on her own and have the run of the house. I do walk/run her 5-10 miles a day currently so she should be with an owner who is also very active or has a large fenced in yard for her to run around.
