We have had Reggie for about 2.5 months. While he has many admirable traits (doesn’t bark, walks well on leash, loves treats and toys, likes playing with other dogs) he has some undesirable behaviors. He won’t obey my wife and becomes difficult to control when left along with her. He mouths (doesn’t bite down) people with his teeth, jumps and pulls at clothing when he wants attention, and sometimes has accidents in the house.

We are experienced dog owners (Reggie is our fourth dog) and have done our best to ingrain new habits. And, while he’s made progress, he is still too demanding and insistent with his nipping and jumping when he doesn’t get his way. My wife is recovering from a kidney transplant, so needs a more gentle, respective dog.

Reggie weighs 35lbs, is up to date with shots. He’s a very cute guy, but he is simply too much for us to handle
