FAMD is excited to announce that we are once again participating in Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters on Saturday October 12, 2019 from 12-4pm. Adoptions will be just $25, with an additional $10 microchip registration fee. BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor the remaining cost at 125+ participating organizations in 26 states! This is their largest event to date, so PLEASE help us place thousands of pets in their forever homes!
During #EmptytheShelters, adopters are still required to complete a standard adoption application as if it were a normal day. The process does not change and our adoption counselors will take the necessary time with potential adopters to ensure it is the perfect fit for both the pet and your family. If you are thinking of adding a pet to your family during this event, we highly encourage getting pre-approved to adopt. You can fill out our adoption questionnaire here.
