WWJ News Radio Anchor Brooke Allen was nominated for two Michigan Association of Broadcaster’s, (MAB), Broadcast Excellence Awards, “Best Continuing Coverage,” ( Roe v. Wade), and “Best Newscast.” Allen is also nominated for Hour Detroit’s “Best Radio Reporter” for her third year – Maybe this will be the year!
She won “Best Newscast” for WWJ Midday Auto Show Newscast, credits include: Brooke Allen and Jeff Gilbert.
She’s thrilled to be out of the studio and helping to raise money for a good cause beside her good friend Steve Acho for FAMD’s next Artists for Animals Benefit Concert.
The 2023 Broadcast Excellence Awards Gala was held concurrent to our concert on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Sound Board in MotorCity Casino Hotel, Detroit.
