Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit is launching its first-ever Community Friends Day! It is a day about giving back to the community and helping so many homeless animals in need. Friends for Animals invites community businesses, organizations, and individuals to partner with them for this newly announced fundraising and donation drive initiative, which will take place on World Kindness Day, Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
Participants can set up online fundraisers, host a dinner party, set up donation canisters at their place of business, contribute a percentage of their sales for the day back to the organization, collect items off our wish list, sign up to volunteer, and so much more! Friends for Animals will supply your organization with bins, canisters, and collateral to facilitate the collection of donations.
“This effort is to bring people together for one cause, celebrate kindness, and help an organization in need of support from its community. With so many stray animals coming through our doors with all types of medical issues, we need our community’s help,” said Cory Keller, President and CEO.
