Holiday Season

I’m four years old, like long walks at the park, and right now, I live at a cool place called Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit. Or at least that’s what I’ve heard — I can’t really read the big sign on the building.

I always love this time of year because it’s when dog-lovers like to sneak me an extra helping of delicious holiday table scraps. But my super high-frequency dog hearing has caught wind of something else exciting going on – 12 Days of Giving.

It’s a chance for people who love animals to give a little extra support to the ones that really need it. When you give to Friends for Animals, you help provide food for cats and dogs, medical care, fuzzy, squeaky toys and, of course, the treats that we go crazy for.

Of course, the best thing about the 12 Days of Giving, is that there are so many ways you can help.

  • You can give an animal a new home by adopting them.
  • You can give your time by volunteering. You’d be amazed at how rewarding and fun it can be to spend a few hours with animals.
  • And, of course, you can give money below. It always helps in so many ways.

By the way, just by following us on social, you’re giving the gift of awareness. I’m told it’s pretty easy and really helpful.

So, if you can, please donate to Friends for Animals. All of us waiting for our forever homes will be grateful. Just use your paws to click below for more information.
