Our mission is to help make sure every dog and cat in Metro Detroit is happy, healthy and able to find their forever home. And even COVID-19 can’t stop that. We’re still continuing essential services — giving homeless and lost dogs and cats love, shelter, food and medical care; offering adoptions by appointment when allowed; and providing people with foster and sleepover opportunities.
But we need your help to get through this difficult time.
As an essential service provider, we are open with limited services. We’ve been required to limit public access to the shelter, suspend volunteer activities and temporarily stop accepting owner surrenders. We are taking lost animals brought in by Dearborn Animal Control, and it’s only through your generosity that we will be able to get through this unprecedented event.
